A lot of businesses think that eye-catching, beautiful and trendy designs are the way to go with social media, especially because Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and more allow you to customize your appearance, for the most part. And, yes, that’s partly true. You do want to make sure that people have a visual link to your brand on your social media platforms. You do want people to be in awe of the design that you’re able to put forth. You do NOT, however, want to be just a pretty face.
